Keep them close, always.
When someone you love is no longer by your side, having something tangible to hold onto can mean so much.
At Keepsakes by Nicoleta, I create handcrafted ashes jewellery in Australia, carefully incorporating a small amount of your loved one’s ashes into a beautiful piece of jewellery made especially for you.
Whether you’re remembering a much-loved family member, friend or pet, each piece is created with care, respect and an understanding of just how precious the keepsake entrusted to me truly is.
Jewellery Made With Ashes, A Story to carry with you
Memorial jewellery is more than something you wear. It holds a story, a connection and a little piece of someone you never want to forget.
Your loved one’s ashes can be incorporated into a range of jewellery, including rings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets and earrings, creating a personal keepsake you can carry with you every day.
Each piece is individually handcrafted, meaning no two pieces are exactly alike.

FAQs
Ashes jewellery, sometimes called cremation jewellery or memorial jewellery, is jewellery created using a small amount of cremation ashes. The ashes become part of the design, transforming a ring, necklace, bracelet or other piece into a deeply personal keepsake.
We also make Murano Glass gemstones and created rubies and sapphires. Please see the below table to determine the differences between the stones and which one would be more suitable for you.
Only a very small amount is required to create your jewellery. You’ll receive clear instructions about how much to send and how to safely package your loved one’s ashes.
This depends on the design and finish you choose. Some people love being able to see small, delicate traces of ashes within their piece, while others prefer a more subtle appearance.
Absolutely. Pet ashes can be incorporated into memorial jewellery, allowing you to keep a beloved companion close.
Yes. Keepsakes by Nicoleta memorial jewellery is handcrafted in Australia with care and respect.
The resin stones we make are hardwearing but there is something about wearing your pieces 24/7 that is not ok with any kind of jewellery unfortunately; regardless where it is purchased from. The resin gemstones need special care like the pearls and opals. Which means, avoiding chemicals, exposure to sunlight for very long times and constant moisture is critical. You shouldn’t sleep with any jewellery if you want it to last forever. Genuine diamonds can chip after wearing for years and claws can break in 10000$ rings or $500 ring from any jewellers if you don’t care for your precious pieces. Please read our care instructions here.

When I receive your ring order, I will send you a ring sizer. You can use this ring sizer to measure the size of the finger that you will wear your ring on. You can email me your size, or email me a photo of the sizer on your finger so I can work out your best size. The ring sizer is disposable, and doesn’t need to be returned to me.
Cremation ashes – For resin items, please send me ¼ of a teaspoon of ashes per item. If you have ordered a Mevisto ruby or sapphire, I will need 50-100g of ashes. Any unused ashes will be returned to you with your finished order.
Breastmilk – 5-10ml is enough breastmilk for several items. I recommend measuring the breastmilk with a syringe. Any unused preserved breastmilk will be returned to you with your finished order.
Hair – For resin items, it’s generally best to send a lock of hair around 3-4cm long, however I can craft with as little as one strand of hair if I need to. If you have ordered a Mevisto ruby or sapphire, I will need 10g of hair. Any unused hair will be returned to you with your finished order.
Dehydrated placenta/umbilical cord –
Flowers –
Sand/Soil – like cremation ashes, only ¼ of a teaspoon per item is required.
