Some bonds can never be broken.
A mother’s love for her child is one of them.
It is a love that knows no boundaries, transcending time, distance and even the physical world. No matter how many years pass, a child remains forever in their mother’s heart.
There is perhaps no greater heartbreak than a parent having to say goodbye to their child.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of creating several memorial keepsakes for Rich’s beautiful family. Each piece has been lovingly handcrafted to honour his memory and help preserve the connection that continues long after loss.
Most recently, I was honoured to create this beautiful Heart Urn Pendant for Rich’s mum.
A Keepsake Filled with Love
This piece was especially personal.
The pendant was carefully filled with a small amount of Rich’s precious ashes, creating a keepsake that could be worn close to his mum’s heart every day.
To make it even more meaningful, we engraved the pendant with Rich’s own signature, taken from a birthday card he had written to his mum.
It transformed the pendant into something truly unique – a piece that carries not only his memory, but a part of who he was.
More Than Memorial Jewellery
Every memorial keepsake tells a different story.
Some hold the memory of a beloved pet. Others honour a parent, partner or grandparent.
Some, like Rich’s, are created to remember a child whose place in their family’s heart will never change.
While jewellery can never remove the pain of loss, it can become a source of comfort during life’s hardest moments – a gentle reminder that love remains, even when someone can no longer be held in our arms.

To Rich’s mum, thank you for once again placing your trust in me during such a deeply personal journey.
Creating these keepsakes is never simply about making jewellery. It is about honouring a life, preserving memories and treating every story with the care and compassion it deserves.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of the parents who carry the unimaginable weight of losing a child.
My hope is that this special pendant brings comfort, strength and the quiet reassurance that Rich is always close to your heart.
Because love never leaves us.
It simply finds a new way to stay close.
